From 9-5 To Freelancing

A lot of my friends have asked me how I started freelance writing as a career. Well, I had to figure it out on my own, I had to do it when my son's nanny left us all of a sudden.

Working from 9-5 as a single mother with a then 2-year-old became difficult when I could not find the right nanny to whom I can entrust my son.  Although working from home was something I had long thought about, I did not know I would be doing it at that time without a concrete plan.

Luckily, I met like-minded people online who were very supportive. If you want to know more about one of my mentors who is so passionate about helping moms start a freelance writing gig, then please continue reading because you might just be in for something to help you kickstart your freelancing side gig.

BECOME A FREELANCE WRITER TODAY!
Freelancing and working-from-home have become increasingly popular for mothers who would like to earn while being able to spend more time at home with the family. I searched the internet for freelancing and work-from-home jobs for mothers that I can explore, and luckily I found one that I enjoy doing -- writing.

So I made the decision to work from home as a freelance writer. I attended every online seminar about writing and freelancing. I met very generous people sharing their knowledge. Fast forward to present, I am now a freelance content writer helping industries and business owners to create compelling content about their businesses, including website copies, blog posts, social media content, or product/ service descriptions.

My work includes adding value to client websites by actively engaging customers and maintaining a cohesive brand voice that generates and converts leads. I love what I do, and I really hope a lot of mothers can also find a freelance job that they love to do.
